Analysts claim that next year iPhone will lose to Huawei, and Huawei has already become the top domestic market share.
Market Analysts Predict Huawei will Emerge Victorious over iPhone Next Year, Already Dominating Domestic Market Share
【Mobile China News】The release of the Huawei Mate60 series has had a significant impact on iPhone sales. According to the latest report from analysis agencies, due to the rise of competitors such as Huawei and sluggish demand, the sales of the new iPhone in China are lower than its predecessor. Analysts believe that this trend indicates that iPhone will “lose to” Huawei next year.
According to CNBC, on October 16, local time, Jefferies analyst, a financial services company, said that China’s smartphone sales have shown positive growth year-on-year, mainly due to double-digit growth in devices led by Huawei, Xiaomi, and Honor. The iPhone has experienced a double-digit sharp decline, and its sales have been negative year-on-year since the launch of the iPhone 15 series. As a result, Huawei surpassed Apple and took the first position in market share.
Jefferies estimates that with the unexpected appearance of the Mate60 Pro, Huawei’s overall sales in China have exceeded Apple’s. Analysts wrote that this trend indicates that iPhone will “lose to” Huawei next year. “We believe that weak demand in China will eventually result in iPhone 15 global shipments in 2023 lower than expected.”
