In terms of appearance, the new Song Pro DM-i adds a new “Far Mountain Green” car paint color, and the biggest difference from the current models on sale is the design of the front grille, which is similar to the overall style of the BYD Song PLUS. The shape of the front headlights on both sides has not changed much, while the lower front bumper has a more sporty look.

From the side, there is not much change in the new car, which still uses a traditional five-door, five-seat SUV body structure. The B-pillar and C-pillar have been blacked out, and a straight waistline below enhances the overall visual length of the vehicle. The length, width, and height of the entire vehicle are 4738/1860/1710mm respectively, the wheelbase is 2712mm, the car length has increased by 88mm compared to the current model, the car height has increased by 10mm, while the car width and wheelbase remain unchanged. In addition, the new Song Pro DM-i will offer optional 18-inch and 19-inch wheels.

In terms of power, the declaration information shows that the new car will continue to carry a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor. Among them, the maximum power of the 1.5L engine is 81kW (110 horsepower), and the driving motor provides two specifications of maximum power, which are 132kW and 145kW. The new car uses BYD’s subsidiary, Fudi Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, and the NEDC pure electric range is divided into 51km and 110km.
