【PhoneAuto News】On October 17th, PhoneAuto learned from the official source that Geely Auto has released the official images of its mid-size sedan, the Galaxy E8. The new car adopts a “ripple aesthetic” design language, featuring a one-piece illuminated front face, a dynamic illuminated badge, frameless doors, and a sunrise-inspired full-width taillight.

From the front, the new car showcases the “Ripple of Light and Motion” grille, composed of 158 window-like elements that emit light. With a glowing surface area of 0.105 square meters, it is touted as the world’s first mass-produced illuminated front face, capable of displaying light effects such as welcoming, flowing left and right, and jumping water. Additionally, the dynamic illuminated badge also has welcoming functions.

On the side, the car’s roofline is sleek and reminiscent of a coupe. With its streamlined body, external AGS active air intake grille, and low drag closed aerodynamic wheels, the Geely Galaxy E8 has a drag coefficient of only 0.199Cd. At the rear, the taillight cluster has a stylish design, bringing a more dynamic touch.

In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 5010/1920/1465mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2925mm. The interior will be equipped with a 45-inch 8K screen, with an effective display area of 1130mm×138mm and a screen-to-body ratio of 98%. In the park position, it also supports direct connection of mobile phones or handles for gaming. Additionally, the new car is expected to offer an optional half-size steering wheel and a center console with a flat panel and wireless charging. It is reported that the new car will be equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8295 cockpit chip from Qualcomm and a brand-new infotainment system.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a Weirui electric motor with a maximum power of 200 kilowatts.
