【PhoneAuto News】Recently, according to PhoneAuto, the new hybrid mid-size SUV under the Wei brand – the new Mocha DHT-PHEV – was officially unveiled. As a restyled model, the new car has significant upgrades in both exterior and interior design, with a front face design style similar to the higher-end Wei Blue model. The new Mocha DHT-PHEV is positioned as a large five-seater mid-size SUV, with its main competitors after launch being the Ideal L7 and the BYD Tang family.

In terms of exterior, the biggest change from the old model is the adoption of the latest family design language for the front face, officially known as the “Natural New Realm Aesthetic” family design. As a hybrid model, the new car is equipped with a medium-sized air intake grille, with a mesh pattern and a borderless design, paired with a trapezoidal front bumper and side air intakes, enhancing the front part of the car’s imposing presence. The headlight design on both sides is slender, and the upper part is equipped with a through-type daytime running light design, with good overall recognition.

Looking at the side of the car, the new car is equipped with large-sized wheels and hidden door handles favored by young users. In addition, the entire side profile is very three-dimensional, and the design of the double waistline adds to its sense of hierarchy. The length, width, and height of the new car are 4881/1960/1690mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2915mm. At the rear of the car, the taillights feature a double-layer through-type design, echoing the front headlights. The overall design of the rear is also very rich, enhancing the overall viewing experience.

As for the interior, the new car also adopts a brand-new design language, with an overall simple style. Equipped with a 14.6-inch suspended central control screen, a 9-inch touchpad, a 9.2-inch full LCD dashboard and AR-HUD. In addition, the new car will be equipped with the latest high-speed NOH+ city NOH smart navigation assistance driving system. Among them, the high-speed NOH intelligent driving assistance can realize six major scenes such as intelligent entry and exit of the ramp, intelligent avoidance of the merging entrance, and intelligent lane change protection; the city NOH intelligent driving assistance can realize eight major scenes such as intelligent navigation follow-up, urban intersection passing, urban intelligent lane change, and vehicle overtaking avoidance.

As for the power, the new car will provide two versions of long endurance and ultra-long endurance models. The long-endurance version is equipped with a 34kWh battery pack, with a pure electric endurance of 215km (CLTC condition)/175km (WLTC condition), and the ultra-long endurance version is equipped with a 39.67kWh battery pack, with a pure electric endurance of 245km (CLTC condition)/204km (WLTC condition), and its official fuel consumption is 5.55L/100km.
