The low-end version of the Apple Vision Pro model has been exposed, with a significant reduction in hardware configuration
Low-end Apple Vision Pro model revealed with reduced hardware configuration
【PhoneAuto News】On June 12th, PhoneAuto noticed that according to Mark Gurman’s message, Apple is developing a low-end version of Vision Pro, which may be called “Apple Vision” or “Apple Vision One”. It is reported that compared with Vision Pro, this low-end device will be reduced in terms of processor, display screen, and sensor to reduce production costs. Gurman pointed out that Apple initially expected to sell less than one million high-end Vision Pro units, but due to a decrease in consumer purchasing power, this number may be further reduced.
Currently, there is not much information about the configuration of this low-end Vision Pro. Mark Gurman said that the low-end Vision Pro model may be equipped with Apple’s self-developed M1 chip. In contrast, Vision Pro is equipped with M2 and R1 chips. However, if Apple uses the M3 chip on the second-generation Vision Pro, the low-end Vision Pro may still use the M2 chip. At the same time, the low-end Vision Pro will also reduce the screen size, no longer using dual 4K micro OLED screens, and may use an HD resolution screen. In addition, Apple may also reduce the number of sensors on the low-end Vision Pro to further reduce costs.
Apple’s Vision Pro was released at the WWDC 2023, and many netizens and media believed it to be a groundbreaking product. Currently, the price of this product is $3,499, approximately 25,000 yuan.
