What is the suitable price for the upcoming MG Cyberster, set to debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show?

【PhoneAuto News】On October 18th, PhoneAuto learned from SAIC Motor that MG Cyberster, the brand’s new electric convertible sports car, will announce the pre-delivery price at the end of October and will be launched during the Guangzhou Auto Show in November. Previously, this new car has started pre-orders, with a deposit of 10,000 yuan for the three models and exclusive benefits worth 20,000 yuan, including priority delivery rights.

In terms of appearance, the MG Cyberster adopts a standard two-door two-seater design, with a compact body design and streamlined lines. In addition, the sides of the front bumper of the new car have ventilation openings, and the lower part of the intake grille also has a unique design.

The MG Cyberster is available in three exterior color options: Red Flame, Light Speed Yellow, and Silver Bullet. It is offered in three trim levels: Charm and Excitement Edition, Transcendent Remote Edition, and Legendary Four-Wheel Drive Edition. Some configuration information has been released, including a soft-top convertible, electric scissor doors, Dinamica suede sport seats, and a wrap-around triple-screen display, which are expected to be standard across the lineup.

In terms of power, the MG Cyberster offers three powertrain options, including a single-motor high/low power version and a dual-motor version. The single-motor version is equipped with a rear permanent magnet synchronous motor, with a maximum power of 231 kW for the low-power version and 250 kW for the high-power version. As for the dual-motor version, it features a very powerful performance, with a front axle powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 150 kW, and a rear axle powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 250 kW. The overall power output under four-wheel drive reaches an impressive 400 kW.
