Buy now to speed up the process! Rolls-Royce CEO Ordering a Ghost now will result in delivery in 2025

Order a Rolls-Royce Ghost now for delivery in 2025

【PhoneAuto News】As a globally renowned ultra-luxury car brand, vehicles under Rolls-Royce often require a lengthy waiting period from customization to delivery, which is even more evident in their latest electric car, Spectre. Recently, the CEO of the company, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, revealed the delivery time of this new electric car during an event with the media.

During the interview with the media, the CEO of Rolls-Royce stated that since the Spectre was officially released, its popularity has exceeded the company’s expectations. Due to the increase in orders, the delivery time for the new car has also been delayed. “If you order today, you may receive delivery in 2025,” Müller-Ötvös told the media. “We expect to achieve delivery within 15 months. Obviously, in the medium to long term, the delivery time for the new car may reach its peak, but I don’t want my customers to wait for years to get their beloved car.”

The CEO continued, “In the luxury car industry, customers do not like to wait for more than three, four or five years, and they are also more averse to the rhetoric of ‘the car is sold out before it is officially released.’ In my opinion, this is entirely due to poor production planning and no other reason.”

Müller-Ötvös also talked about the help and reference significance provided by Rolls-Royce’s previous electric concept cars, the 102EX and 103EX, to the Spectre: “We have learned a lot about vehicle range and charging from the concept cars. Although we do not expect the first electric car to become the top performer in terms of range, a range of 500 kilometers is sufficient for our customers.”

He further explained the reason why the vehicle was not equipped with a longer battery life: “In terms of the size of the vehicle, how much do we need to do? What should the overall design of the vehicle be like? This is a very delicate balance between range, battery size, and what compromises you need to make in terms of vehicle design and range. Not blindly stacking batteries to maintain the elegant shape of the vehicle also provides us with the correct logic behind the battery size.”
