Redmi K60 Ultimate Edition with Dimensity 9200+ and discrete graphics X7 announced, available this month

【Phoneauto News】On the afternoon of August 3rd, Redmi officially announced the K60 Ultimate Edition: dual-core flagship, powerful performance, coming this month!

Redmi K60 Ultimate Edition Announcement

According to the official announcement, the Redmi K60 Ultimate Edition will be equipped with the Tianji 9200+ processor, supplemented by the independent display chip X7, with luxurious performance configuration. With the new Fury Engine 2.0, the powerful performance is fully unleashed.

Previously, Redmi announced that it will cooperate with MediaTek and Pixelworks, two industry giants, to start an unprecedented deep collaboration. For a long time, the game visual effects have been unsatisfactory, but this time Redmi aims to challenge the limits of game graphics and bring a nearly “perfect” full-blooded experience.

Redmi stated that performance is the baseline of the smartphone experience, and it should not only pursue a single accumulation of materials and tuning. There must be a new breakthrough in cognition to dare to open the era of post-performance.

Redmi K60 Ultimate Edition Announcement

The K60 Ultimate Edition has chosen PixelWorks’ X7 display enhancement chip, which reduces power consumption and processing latency by running Xiaomi’s self-developed image algorithm.

It is reported that the K60 Ultimate Edition will be equipped with the Fury Engine 2.0, including environment perception, image quality engine, dynamic display, and global acceleration performance scheduling at five levels. This time, the minimum brightness of the game is increased to 360 nits without frame rate reduction, making it convenient for outdoor use. It can also accelerate the loading speed of games, with a 28% faster speed than similar products on the same platform, and more background applications can be retained.

The Tianji 9200+ processor is MediaTek’s most powerful 5G chip to date, using TSMC’s second-generation 4nm process. The X3 super core frequency has been increased to 3.35GHz, and the frequencies of the three big cores have also been increased to 3GHz. The Antutu benchmark score exceeds 1.36 million points. Some bloggers claim that with the “fierce tuning” of the Tianji 9200+ chip and Redmi, the benchmark score of the Redmi K60 Ultra is expected to exceed 1.4 million points.
