11990 yuan! Tesla Cyberquad officially on sale, the official website is overwhelmed

Tesla Cyberquad is now officially available for purchase at a price of 11,990 yuan The official website is currently experiencing high traffic

【Phoneauto News】Yesterday, Tesla suddenly announced that a new model, Tesla Cyberquad, will be available on the official website in China and the Tesla flagship stores on Tmall/JD. This new vehicle officially went on sale at 10 am on July 14th. Although the price of 11,990 yuan is not cheap for a toy car targeting children, it did not dampen the enthusiasm of Tesla fans in China. Due to the large number of people, the official website experienced lagging issues at the moment of release, making it difficult for consumers to successfully purchase the vehicle. As of the time of writing, the product is still not available for purchase on the Tesla official website.

According to the introduction on the Tesla official website, Tesla Cyberquad was inspired by the cool design language of Tesla’s Cybertruck electric pickup truck. The vehicle is equipped with Tesla’s iconic LED headlights and taillights, a sturdy steel frame, and rubber inflatable tires. It also has a cushioned seat to increase riding comfort and provide an interesting riding experience for children. The Cyberquad toy car is equipped with a 188Wh lithium-ion battery, which has excellent performance in terms of range and charging speed. It can travel up to 13 kilometers on a full charge and has a top speed of 8 km/h, suitable for children aged 8-12.

Tesla Cyberquad is currently still unavailable for normal purchase.

As early as the end of 2021, Tesla had already listed this product on its overseas official store. It has a maximum speed of 10 miles per hour (approximately 16 kilometers), a built-in lithium-ion battery, and a maximum range of 15 miles (approximately 24 kilometers). The price is $1,900 (approximately RMB 13,000). As a “pet car” launched by Tesla, many high-priced resale orders appeared on e-commerce platforms, with the highest asking price reaching $17,000 (approximately RMB 100,000), which is 9 times the original price of the vehicle.

For Musk, launching this product not only allows for additional profits outside of new energy vehicle sales, but also serves as a means of promoting the brand to children through advertising. However, it should be noted that currently, the Cyberquad toy car does not have the right to drive on roads in domestic cities, so it can only be used in certain scenarios.
