The blogger claims that there are 5 million units of the Huawei Mate60 series in stock, suggesting the presence of a 5G version
【Phoneauto News】Recently, there has been widespread speculation on the internet about the new Huawei Mate series phone – the Mate60 series. Of particular interest is the rumor that the long-awaited 5G chip, which has been blocked for a long time, will once again appear in Huawei’s new phone. On July 14th, a digital blogger posted on Weibo, discussing the initial stock volume of the new Huawei phone and hinted that it is likely to be released in a 5G version.

The blogger stated on Weibo, “The initial stock volume of the Huawei Mate 60 series to be released in late September will exceed 5 million units, and Chengdu BOE (BOE Technology Group) and Guangzhou Visionox will jointly supply AMOLED display modules.” In addition to revealing the stock volume, the blogger also added, “If there is no 5G, there is no way we would stock so many! At most 3 million units.” This seems to suggest that the Huawei Mate60 series is likely to actually launch a 5G model at that time.

Also today, another blogger posted that the Huawei Mate 60 series does indeed have early and late versions, with the early version featuring the K chip (Kirin chip) to showcase new achievements, but the actual sales are expected to be based on mass production specifications, as the increase in production capacity still requires time, and the main models to be shipped will still use the G (Qualcomm Snapdragon) chip. And due to production capacity limitations, the number of new phones equipped with the 5G Kirin chip will be very limited, and they are expected to be difficult to obtain.

The blogger also posted a picture showing the position of the rear camera on the Huawei Mate 60 series. The Huawei Mate60 features a quad-camera setup on the back, still retaining the circular design of the family. The four cameras are neatly arranged in two rows, separated by a “horizontal bar” in the middle, with high recognition. The camera module area is labeled with “XMAGE” to enhance the phone’s recognition.
