【Phoneauto News】On July 13th, the all-new Haval H5 officially rolled off the production line at the Great Wall Motor Jingmen production base. It is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter with a price range of approximately 100,000 to 150,000 yuan. Qiao Xinyu, the Executive Deputy General Manager of Haval, has previously stated that the new car is positioned as a “large-sized all-purpose rugged SUV” that will meet users’ comprehensive needs for home, business, and recreational purposes. It features non-load-bearing construction, spacious interior, strong power, and high cost-effectiveness.

In terms of exterior design, the all-new Haval H5 has a relatively square overall shape, with a muscular double-bar grille and polygonal headlights, giving it a certain degree of recognition. In terms of dimensions, the length, width, and height of the new car are 5190/1905/1835mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3140mm. The minimum ground clearance (unloaded) is 200mm, and it can wade through water up to a depth of 600mm, demonstrating certain off-road capabilities.

In terms of interior, the all-new Haval H5 will be equipped with a 12.3-inch floating central control screen and a suspended instrument panel. The lower part of the central control console will feature hexagonal-designed air vents. Additionally, the seats of the all-new Haval H5 will be wrapped in brown leather, with three headrests in the rear row and support for two adjustable angles (27 degrees and 31 degrees). The top is equipped with a panoramic sunroof measuring 0.8 square meters, providing a good level of comfort. In addition, the new car will also be equipped with features such as 360-degree panoramic imaging, L2-level intelligent driving assistance, Gaode+Tencent dual navigation, and Tencent TAI3.0 ecosystem.

Finally, let’s talk about the powertrain. The all-new Haval H5 will be equipped with a 2.0T gasoline and diesel engine. The maximum power output of the gasoline engine is 165 kilowatts, while the maximum power output of the diesel engine is 122 kilowatts. In addition, the new vehicle will be paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission and will have a four-wheel drive system. The chassis will feature a front double-wishbone independent suspension and a rear five-link solid axle non-independent suspension, tuned for comfort.
