The prices of Samsung Z Fold5/Flip5 are expected to be slightly increased, only a few hundred yuan more expensive

【Phoneauto News】On July 16th, according to industry insiders in South Korea, Samsung Electronics will slightly increase the domestic prices of the new Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 folding screen devices. The domestic factory price of Z Fold5 in South Korea is 2.1 million Korean won (256GB) and 2.22 million Korean won (512GB), which is about 100,000 Korean won higher than Z Fold4 (approximately 560 RMB). The factory price of Z Flip5 is 1.4 million Korean won (256GB) and 1.52 million Korean won (512GB), which has increased by about 50,000 Korean won compared to the previous generation (approximately 280 RMB). It is reported that Samsung is currently in final negotiations with the three major mobile operators.

In fact, the price increase of the two new Samsung folding screen phones is not a secret. Globally, including Samsung, Apple, and other mobile phone manufacturers, many high-end flagship phones are likely to increase in price.

According to previous leaks, the prices of Samsung Z Flip5/Fold5 in France have been exposed. The starting price of Z Flip5 is 1,199 euros (approximately 9,520 RMB) for the 256GB version, which is 30 euros more expensive than Z Flip4 (approximately 240 RMB). The starting price of Z Fold5 is also 1,899 euros (approximately 15,078 RMB) for the 256GB version, which is 100 euros more expensive than the previous generation (approximately 800 RMB). The price of the 512GB version is 2,039 euros (approximately 16,190 RMB), which is 120 euros more expensive than the previous generation (approximately 960 RMB).

As for the Chinese market, the prices of Samsung Z Fold5/Flip5 may also have a slight increase.
