Toyota launches TL Power 150 hydrogen fuel cell system

【PhoneAuto News】On the morning of May 16th, Toyota China announced on its official WeChat account that the new generation high-power hydrogen fuel cell system TL Power 150, jointly developed by Fuel Cell System R&D (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Hua Feng Fuel Cell Co., Ltd., has officially been launched.

It is reported that after the launch of two hydrogen fuel cell systems, TL Power 100 and TL Power 80, this brand-new high-power hydrogen fuel cell system TL Power 150 is expected to be mass-produced in the second half of this year. With a rated power of 150kW, the product features lightweight, small size, high power, high efficiency, low hydrogen consumption, and quick response. Its three-layer structure of FCPC, stack, and BOP can achieve a highly integrated system. The key components have been fully verified, with high system reliability and long service life, and superior full-lifecycle economics. The high-power design of this product can meet the power requirements of intercity buses and heavy-duty trucks, and can adapt to various application scenarios, achieving multi-systemization.

Previously, FCRD and Hua Feng had already launched two products on the market, TL Power 100 and TL Power 80. Both products have achieved the industry’s top high power density and durability of more than 30,000 hours, with high performance and high quality. At the same time, 4.5-ton refrigerated trucks, 8.6-meter buses, 12-meter coaches, 18-ton logistics trucks, and 18-ton cleaning trucks equipped with Hua Feng fuel cell systems have been officially released. All the above models have highlights such as ultra-long cruising range and ultra-low hydrogen consumption, and with more economical full-lifecycle cost performance, they have become the best choice for many customers. The launch of TL Power 150 further enriches the product matrix of the two companies, providing customers with more diversified product choices and adapting to more commercial vehicle models.
