【PhoneAuto News】Recently, the vivo Y27 5G (model V2248) appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website. On June 19th, PhoneAuto learned from foreign media that insiders claimed there is a 4G version of the vivo Y27, which has not been officially announced and is expected to be released in July.

According to insiders, the model number of the vivo Y27 4G smartphone is V2249. It uses a 6.5-inch screen with a resolution of 720×1600. It offers two versions to choose from: 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. It comes pre-installed with the Android 13 operating system, is equipped with the MediaTek G85 chip, and has a 5000mAh battery. It is available in black, green, and deep red. The price of the vivo Y27 4G is about 1500 yuan (Chinese currency).

According to the Geekbench website, the Y27 5G obtained scores of 595 and 1770 in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, which is consistent with the performance of the Dimensity 820. Previously, this model has been certified by EEC in Europe, TKDN in Indonesia, and NCC in Taiwan. The NCC announcement shows that the vivo Y27 5G will have a built-in 5000mAh battery and support 44W fast charging. Some key specifications of this device have also appeared on the Google Play console. The device’s screen supports FHD+ resolution with a pixel density of 440 dpi.
It is worth mentioning that foreign media reported that the vivo Y27 5G is likely to be a renamed version of the vivo Y36 5G. If this is true, the device will use a 6.65-inch screen, a rear 50-megapixel main camera, and a front 16-megapixel lens.
