【PhoneAuto News】Recently, Guangzhou Juwan Technology announced that its global first ultra-fast charging power battery professional factory has officially started production. The factory is located in Juwan’s headquarters base in Nansha, Guangzhou, covering an area of 189,000 square meters, with a total investment of about 4 billion yuan. Currently, the factory has a production capacity of 4GWh and claims to be the “world’s only factory to achieve mass production of ultra-fast charging batteries”.

Juwan Technology stated that the factory has five highlights: first, the injection and formation process of special functional electrolyte, which allows the battery core to be continuously charged at a high rate and maintain an ultra-long cycle life; second, the multi-component high-precision feeding system combined with the raw material premix system and high-speed paste homogenization system, making the prepared electrode sheet have better electrochemical, thermodynamic, and mechanical properties; third, the special wide ear welding for effective reduction of resistance and temperature rise during fast charging, ensuring battery reliability and safety; fourth, the multi-layer coating/roll-to-roll innovative process, achieving ultra-fast charging of the battery core under high energy density, long life, and low cost conditions; finally, strict control over environmental humidity/cleanliness, ensuring consistency and ultra-high safety and reliability of supercharged battery products above industry standards.

In addition, the battery independently developed by Juwan Technology is claimed to be able to charge from 0% to 80% in just 7.5 minutes, with a maximum charging power of 480kW and a range of 400-500 kilometers. It competes with NIO’s fast-charging batteries.
