The Honor 100 Pro released this time takes “New Artistic Aesthetics” as the design foundation color. It breaks free from traditional design constraints. In terms of the back panel material, Honor innovatively uses a combination of glass and raw leather, which are separated by an S-shaped curve that runs through the back panel of the phone. In addition, the free-flowing artistic sense possessed by this curve is reminiscent of the Tai Chi symbol of the S-shaped line of the yin and yang fish, making the sense of division between these two different materials fade away and replaced by a state of mutual blending, resulting in overall harmony.

In terms of color matching, the Honor 100 Pro comes in three colors. In addition to the Moonlight White, which uses an integrated glass back panel, the remaining Monet Purple and Butterfly Blue use a combination of glass and raw leather. In the author’s humble opinion, the color of the glass material on the back of the Honor 100 Pro is lighter, similar to the color of the sky in the painting, while the color of the raw leather at the bottom is darker, similar to the bridge and its reflection in the water in the painting. This design of lighter color on top and darker color on the bottom creates such a unique Monet Purple, abstract and romantic.

In addition, the Honor 100 Pro also supports natural color display, 360° adaptive dimming, quasi-natural light eye protection, and sleep aid display technology. Among them, I believe the sleep aid display technology is the most helpful feature for today’s working people. This technology can simulate the light changes of sunrise and sunset based on the human circadian rhythm. It gradually and slowly reduces the screen color temperature within 4 hours at sunset, allowing users to be unknowingly assisted by blue light for sleep, increasing the concentration of melatonin in the body by 20%, and improving sleep quality.

In terms of screen quality, the Honor 100 Pro still performs exceptionally well. With a screen size of 6.78 inches, a resolution of 2700*1224, a peak brightness of up to 2600nit, and a pixel density of 437PPI, all prove the excellent quality of this screen. In terms of display, the Honor 100 Pro uses SRGB and P3 dual color gamut natural algorithms for calibration, making the color accuracy of the device △E≈0.27. As we all know, the Honor digital series has not been known for its high performance, but the Honor 100 Pro breaks through the conventional boundaries and brings epic hardware performance upgrades. In terms of the core Soc, the Honor 100 Pro uses the flagship Qualcomm second-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship chip. Compared to the first generation Snapdragon 8, the CPU performance is increased by 35%, GPU performance is increased by 25%, and AI performance is increased by 435%. As we all know, in the game settings of “Genshin Impact”, the highest frame rate is only 60 frames per second. Therefore, I first set the image quality to the highest and then set the frame rate to 60 frames. After entering the game, I turned on the game mode and frame rate enhancement. Through PerfDog, I could see that the frame rate of “Genshin Impact” really reached 90 frames. And during the half-hour running process, the game frame rate was very stable, and I ended up with an average frame rate of 91.5, making me exclaim, “Wow ~ awesome!”

In addition, the Honor 100 Pro does not experience severe body temperature issues while delivering such gaming performance. After completing the Genshin Impact frame rate test, I immediately used a temperature gun to measure its temperature. According to the results, the highest temperature on the front and back of the device is only around 42 degrees Celsius, and it only gives off a slight warmth sensation when held.
