First Look Tesla D9 Four-Seat Model Revealed - Limited to 99 Units, Deliveries Begin in 2022
[PhoneAuto News] Recently, PhoneAuto obtained a set of declaration images of the new Tengshi D9 model from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s website. From the details, it appears to be the production version of the Tengshi D9 PREMIER Founder Edition four-seater. The previously announced pre-sale price of the car is 660,000 yuan, with a limited release of 99 units, and deliveries may start next year. Tengshi has officially announced that the Tengshi D9 PREMIER Founder Edition four-seater production version will debut at the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show, which will take place from November 17th to November 26th. With the launch of the Founder Edition four-seater model, the Tengshi D9 will further expand into the high-end MPV market.
The exterior design of the vehicle in the declaration images is identical to the current Tengshi D9 DM-i model, with dimensions of 5250mm×1960mm×1900mm (length, width, height) and a wheelbase of 3110mm. The focus of the car is in its features, which include a standard sunroof and panoramic skyroof, entertainment system, and luxurious rear seats. Optional features include a two-tone body, front and rear corner radars, and multi-spoke design wheels.

In terms of power, the Tengshi D9 four-seater version is equipped with a DM-i hybrid system comprised of a 1.5T engine and front and rear electric motors. The maximum power output of the engine is 102 kilowatts, while the front and rear electric motors have maximum power outputs of 170 kilowatts and 45 kilowatts, respectively. The power data is consistent with the current Tengshi D9 DM-i four-wheel drive model on sale. The range data for this model has not been disclosed yet, but the current Tengshi D9 DM-i four-wheel drive model on sale has a NEDC-compliant pure electric range of 180 kilometers and a NEDC-compliant range of 970 kilometers.
