35 car brands, including Tesla, will participate in the upcoming Detroit Auto Show

【Phoneauto News】After the Munich Auto Show, another international-level auto show will kick off later this month, and it is the historic Detroit Auto Show (North American International Auto Show) which will be held from September 13th to 24th. Recently, the organizers of the auto show announced the lineup of participating brands, with 35 car brands already confirmed to participate in this show.

It is understood that a total of 16 car manufacturers will showcase multiple models at the exhibition. These include Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, GMC, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Lincoln, RAM, Tesla, Toyota, and Volkswagen. Among these brands, Tesla’s appearance is perhaps the most surprising, as they have historically been uninterested in auto shows and have not participated for several years since 2015.

At least 19 other brands will be represented by dealers. They are Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Maserati, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Polestar, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, and Volvo.

One new addition to the Detroit Auto Show this year is the “Exotic and Luxury Car Show” section, which will gather a large number of supercars, and there will even be a flying car on display. In addition, BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, Tesla, and Volkswagen will offer electric car test drives on an indoor track. Ford and Tesla will also provide the opportunity for participants to drive on a predetermined route near the Detroit River, as well as drive on certain sections of the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix racetrack, further enhancing the experience for attendees of the auto show.
