iQOO 12 series to be released on November 7, will redefine the performance core standard
The iQOO 12 series, set to debut on November 7, promises to redefine the standard for performance cores.
【Mobile China News】 On October 25th, Qualcomm released the third generation Snapdragon 8 mobile processor, and iQOO is among the first to adopt it. At the same time, iQOO officially announced that the latest flagship iQOO 12 series will hold a press conference in Guangzhou on November 7th at 7:00 PM.
This latest third generation Snapdragon 8 mobile processor from Qualcomm is manufactured using advanced TSMC 4nm technology. The CPU consists of a high-frequency Cortex-X4 super large core of up to 3.3GHz, 5 Cortex-A720 big cores, and 2 Cortex-A520 small cores, resulting in an even more impressive energy efficiency ratio. The GPU uses Adreno 750, with a 20% increase in core scale, a 35% improvement in GPU peak performance, and a 38% reduction in power consumption under the same performance.

The theme of this iQOO 12 series press conference is “Beyond Powerful, Redefining Elegance.” Previously, it was confirmed that the iQOO 12 series will be the first to feature iQOO’s self-developed independent display chip, potentially becoming the first domestic sub-brand to have its own self-developed independent display chip. With the combination of the third generation Snapdragon 8 mobile processor from Qualcomm and iQOO’s self-developed independent display chip, the iQOO 12 series will achieve a dual improvement in ultimate performance and gaming experience.
In addition to its powerful hardware configuration, the iQOO 12 series also has a more elegant appearance. From the official posters and leaked real-life photos, the new phone adopts a straight metal frame, with curved edges between the back panel and the frame, along with a unique rounded rectangular camera module design. There is also expected to be a significant upgrade in imaging, with rumors suggesting that the main camera of the iQOO 12 series will be equipped with a large-diameter primary camera and a top-notch periscope telephoto lens, providing users with an even more outstanding photography experience.
