JJ Lin shares photos of buying iPhone 15 series on Meituan, but the images are disastrous
JJ Lin bought the iPhone 15 series on Meituan, but the photos are terrible
【Phoneauto News】On the evening of September 15th, the highly anticipated Apple iPhone 15 series officially began pre-sales. Many people set their alarms and waited in front of their phones or computers, hoping to be among the first to snatch the new device. Not only regular Apple fans were excited, but some celebrity fans also participated in the pre-order, including well-known musician JJ Lin, who specifically posted on Weibo to announce that he successfully got the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

In his Weibo post, JJ Lin wrote, “For true Apple fans, every minute of waiting is torment! I decisively pre-ordered this year’s iPhone on @Meituan Delivery, so I can get it within 30 minutes on the day of sale! I hope to receive it soon and use the new phone to document my #JJLin20WorldTour#.” He also attached a photo of his purchase on Meituan.

From the post, it can be seen that JJ Lin is actually advertising for Meituan. However, observant netizens noticed something strange in the photo he posted. The phone he was using had some peculiarities. From the appearance and the style of the icons at the top of the screen, it should be an iPhone, which aligns with JJ Lin’s identity as an Apple fan.
Phone in the Weibo photo
However, what’s puzzling is that the iPhone in his hand is neither a notch screen nor a “Ling Dong Dao” (an Apple term for a full-screen display with no notch). It is a true full-screen phone without a front-facing camera. Some netizens speculate that this situation might be due to a lack of effort on Meituan’s part in photo editing. When taking a screenshot of the iPhone 14 Pro Max, the “Ling Dong Dao” will be hidden, resulting in a complete screenshot. It is possible that the screenshot was directly edited onto the phone, hence the mistake.
Netizens create meme pictures
In response to JJ Lin’s collaboration with Meituan to purchase the new iPhone, netizens have created a meme picture. In the picture, JJ Lin and Apple CEO Tim Cook are standing together, with Cook holding a Meituan delivery bag. On both sides of the image, it says “Those who recognize the 15 are JJ Lin, Meituan delivery is faster,” mocking their collaboration this time.
