Previously, Qin Lihong, the co-founder and president of NIO, revealed that NIO plans to release the long-awaited smartphone product, NIO Phone, on September 21st this year. September 21st is NIO IN Innovation and Technology Day, and NIO Phone is expected to be launched on the same day.
Currently, NIO Phone has obtained network access approval and added 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB versions. It is expected to be equipped with UWB technology, providing efficient and convenient car remote control experience services for NIO car owners. At the end of August, some leaked chat records showed that William Li, the CEO of NIO, disclosed information about NIO Phone and did some “expectation management,” stating, “The Android flagship is worth it, and the iPhone backup is definitely over-matched.”
- Li Nan Just asking, what does Huawei Mate60 use to compete with the most powerful camera iPhone 15 on the market?
- Where did the Apple A17 chip go? Turns out it’s waiting for the iPhone 16 to continue to be ahead of everyone else

NIO Phone passes 3C certification
Antutu previously found the configuration and running score information of NIO’s first smartphone in the backstage database. The device is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 leading mobile platform, supplemented by 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage space, with a total score of 1360974 points, including 355091 points for CPU performance, 434891 points for GPU performance, 304072 points for MEM performance, and 266920 points for UX performance.
This performance level is similar to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 models and significantly different from the common Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 models. However, Antutu stated that the tested device may be an early engineering sample, and its performance is not ideal, so it is only for reference.
As a key part of the NIO “Driver Connectivity” experience, the NIO smartphone is positioned as a high-end device, and it is said that the price will be set between 5000 and 7000 yuan.
