【Mobile China News】On December 13th, supply chain sources revealed that Huawei, Honor, and Transsion are optimistic about the smartphone shipment target for 2024. Preliminary estimates suggest that these three companies will add a total of 70 to 80 million phones, accounting for approximately 5% of the global smartphone market. According to Mobile China, this growth trend is expected to continue in 2024 and may drive up the prices of storage chips.

An earlier report released by Canalys, an analysis agency, showed that the shipment volume of the Chinese smartphone market had declined for two consecutive quarters in the third quarter of 2023, with a year-on-year decline of 5%, reaching 66.7 million units. However, from the data of various manufacturers, the competition in the market remains fierce.
Honor, with its competitive products and channels, reclaimed the first place with an 18% market share and shipped 11.8 million units. Following closely is OPPO (including OnePlus), with a shipment volume of 10.9 million units, ranking second. Apple, leveraging the popularity of new models, ranked third with a shipment volume of 10.6 million units. vivo adopted a cautious shipment strategy and ranked fourth with a 16% market share. Xiaomi’s market share slightly increased to 14% on a month-on-month basis, maintaining the fifth position.
