According to the spy photos, the appearance of this car is very similar to the current 911 Turbo S, but its hidden charging port at the rear of the vehicle still reveals its uniqueness. This indicates that the car will use a rear-mounted turbocharged horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine and a front-mounted electric motor, forming a four-wheel drive hybrid powertrain system.

Currently, Porsche has not disclosed the specific powertrain parameters of this car, but there are rumors that it will have a total output power of over 700 horsepower. This will make it the most powerful model in the 911 series, even surpassing the upcoming GT2 RS. In addition, this car will also have a pure electric mode, which can travel a certain distance without consuming fuel.

The launch of the Porsche 911 Turbo S Hybrid is part of the brand’s electrification strategy. Porsche plans to have at least one hybrid or electric version for all its models by 2025. Porsche is also developing a new electric sports car based on the Taycan platform, codenamed 718 e-Boxster.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S Hybrid is expected to make its debut in early 2024, followed by its release in the second half of the same year. The price of this car has not been announced yet, but considering the previous release of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid model, it is estimated to be higher than the current 911 Turbo S.
