Salesforce Intensifying competition in the commercial electric vehicle market, actively launching new models

Salesforce actively introduces new models in the competitive commercial electric vehicle market

【phoneauto News】Recently, phoneauto noticed that Siles and Ganfeng Lithium jointly announced that Ganfeng Lithium or its designated third party intends to subscribe for 100 million yuan RMB of additional registered capital of Siles’ subsidiary, Ruichi Electric, with a cash payment of 1 billion yuan RMB. This move will give Ganfeng Lithium a 33.33% equity stake in Ruichi Electric.

Ruichi Electric is a company focused on the electric commercial vehicle business and has performed well. According to previous announcements, Ruichi Electric’s operating income in 2022 reached 2.76 billion yuan, with a net profit of approximately 130 million yuan; in the first half of this year, its revenue was about 1.02 billion yuan, with a net profit of 26.41 million yuan. Despite the competitive pressure in the commercial electric vehicle industry and the impact of rising raw material costs and subsidy reduction, Ruichi Electric has still demonstrated a stable profit-making ability.

At the same time, a staff member of the Securities Affairs Department of Siles stated that the company’s sales volume and profit of commercial electric vehicles in the second half of this year may decrease compared to last year. In order to cope with market challenges, the company will actively launch new models, while focusing on controlling supply chain procurement costs and improving operational efficiency.

This investment from Ganfeng Lithium will bring new development opportunities for Ruichi Electric. As a leading enterprise in the field of lithium compounds and metallic lithium, Ganfeng Lithium will provide strong technical support and market resources to Ruichi Electric. Ruichi Electric will also leverage Ganfeng Lithium’s capital and industrial chain advantages to further consolidate its leading position in the commercial electric vehicle field.

It’s worth noting that this cooperation also reflects the continued capital enthusiasm in the field of new energy vehicles. With the growing global demand for renewable energy and low-carbon travel, the new energy vehicle industry and its upstream and downstream industries have attracted a large amount of investment. The cooperation between Ganfeng Lithium and Siles will undoubtedly inject new vitality into the new energy vehicle industry.
