According to the plan, Toyota’s electric vehicle production capacity will reach 190,000 units by 2024, and by calculation, Toyota plans to increase the production of Toyota and Lexus brand electric vehicles to 600,000 units in 2025. Previously, there were reports that Toyota plans to launch a new generation of electric vehicles in 2026, which will be 40% cheaper than the bZ4X. As a comparison, the current Toyota bZ4X has a suggested retail price of 199,800 to 284,800 yuan, which means the price of the new car may be below 200,000 yuan.
