The iPhone 15 series delivery time has shortened for two weeks, making it difficult to buy
[Phoneauto News] Since its release on September 22nd, the Apple iPhone 15 series has been experiencing delayed delivery and high demand, with the delivery delay time continuously extending. However, according to the latest data, the delivery delay for the iPhone 15 series is decreasing. On October 9th, Phoneauto noticed that the latest data shows that the delivery time for the iPhone 15 Pro Max has been continuously shortened for two weeks. JD.com shows that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is currently still in a state of being sold out.
On the release day of September 22nd, the delivery time for the iPhone 15 Pro was 36 days. The delivery time for the iPhone 15 Pro Max was 54 days, which was almost shortened by one week on September 29th, until October 6th when it was shortened again to 35 days. The reason may be that Apple’s production capacity has increased, or it may be due to some users choosing to return their devices through Apple’s official channels.
Ivan Lam, Senior Analyst at market research firm Counterpoint, said: The current stock of the iPhone 15 series is around 80 million units, possibly slightly lower than 80 million units. Apple will adjust its production plan for Q1 2024 based on the sales situation in October or November. Several investment banks also predict that the shipment volume of the iPhone 15 will be between 70 million and 80 million units, lower than the over 90 million units of the iPhone 14 in the same period last year.

It is worth mentioning that a recent BI survey on the US iPhone market showed that due to American Apple customers continuing to use older models instead of upgrading to the new iPhone 15, the sales of the iPhone 15 next year may stagnate.
