Customs seized 4 cases of passengers smuggling 195 used mobile phones into the country
【Phoneauto News】Recently, there have been numerous cases of mobile phone smuggling into the country. On October 8th, Phoneauto noticed that according to the customs announcement, Shenzhen Bay Customs seized 4 cases of passengers smuggling phones into the country through the travel inspection channel, with a total of 195 old phones seized. Currently, the cases have been transferred to the customs department for further handling.
It is reported that when customs officers were inspecting inbound passengers, they found that 4 of them behaved suspiciously while passing through the customs channel, so they were inspected one by one. Upon inspection, it was found that the 4 passengers had hidden several old phones wrapped in plastic film around their waist and abdomen. After counting, a total of 195 hidden old phones were seized.

In addition to the above-mentioned cases of mobile phone smuggling into the country, recently, Luohu Customs, a subsidiary of Shenzhen Customs, also seized a case of a passenger carrying hidden old phones into the country through the travel inspection channel. When customs officers were supervising inbound passengers, they found one passenger to be nervous and behaving abnormally, so they intercepted and inspected the passenger.
After further inspection, 40 hidden old phones were found on the passenger. Among them, 24 old phones were found hidden with transparent tape around the waist and abdomen, 12 old phones were found hidden with transparent tape around the legs, and 4 old phones were found hidden with transparent tape around the chest.

Destruction: Pornographic materials, illegally published audiovisual products, illegal promotional materials, smuggled cigarettes, and imported and exported goods that fail inspection or cannot obtain sanitary permits must be destroyed. 4. Handover to competent authorities for handling: Confiscated cultural relics, endangered plants and animals and their products are handed over to the competent administrative authorities for legal handling.
