Huawei to Clear Out Snapdragon Models and Shift Towards New Product Line, Reports Say!
[Mobile China News] Previously, unlike most other smartphone manufacturers, Huawei used its own Kirin chips in a large number of its models. However, in recent years, Kirin chips have faced obstacles, forcing Huawei to purchase and use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platform. It wasn’t until the release of the Mate60 series in late August this year that this situation changed.
Recently, Mobile China noticed that insider sources have revealed that Huawei is clearing inventory of older models in preparation for the switch to a new product line. It is expected that by the end of this year or early next year, Huawei will unleash a “flood of new products.”

Huawei smartphones are about to fully switch product lines!
Mobile China noticed that many older Huawei models have started promotions on the JD self-operated platform. For example, the Huawei Mate 40E Pro 8GB+256GB version is currently priced at just over 4000 yuan. It is worth mentioning that this model was launched in early 2022 and is equipped with a Kirin chip and supports 5G networks. In addition, the Huawei Mate50 series is currently almost sold out, with only a few colors of the Mate50 Pro still available.
It is worth mentioning that Mobile China noticed that there are leaked reports suggesting that Huawei will launch a small foldable screen smartphone in December this year. This model will be equipped with a Kirin chip. Referring to the two previous Huawei small foldable screen smartphones, this new model may have a surprise in terms of pricing. This new foldable screen may replace the Huawei Pocket S, which is powered by the Snapdragon platform, and carry the banner of Huawei’s entry-level foldable screens.
