Huawei and Meituan Join Forces Hongmeng Native App Development Launched in Historic Cooperation Agreement
【Mobile China News】On November 13th, Mobile China noticed that Huawei announced comprehensive cooperation with Meituan based on HarmonyOS, involving industrial innovation, technological application, and business development, to fully support Meituan in initiating the development of native HarmonyOS applications. It is understood that since Huawei announced the new HarmonyOS NEXT and the full launch of native HarmonyOS applications on September 25th, enterprises and developers from various fields such as finance, travel, and social media have successively announced their joining in the HarmonyOS ecosystem.
On September 25th, Huawei held the Huawei Autumn Full-Scene New Product Launch Conference. During the conference, Yu Chengdong, Huawei’s Executive Director, CEO of the Consumer BG, and Chairman of the Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, delivered a speech, announcing the upcoming HarmonyOS NEXT and the full launch of native HarmonyOS applications. Yu Chengdong stated that Huawei has currently cultivated millions of HarmonyOS talents and will invest billions of funds to support partner development, comprehensively covering 18 application areas, and bringing consumers a smoother, smarter, and safer native HarmonyOS application experience.
It is worth mentioning that Mobile China noticed that currently, 21 top 985 universities, including Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nanjing University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and Harbin Institute of Technology, have offered courses on Huawei HarmonyOS system. The main content of these 21 university courses includes HarmonyOS principles and application development courses, HarmonyOS-based web programming technology courses, integrated technology of HarmonyOS for smart systems courses, and HarmonyOS series courses for network space security majors.
