According to Carscoops’ report, at least nine Cybertruck prototypes have departed from the Austin Super Factory in Texas in the past few days and have been transported by road to the Fremont Factory in California. These prototypes are similar to the previously exposed versions, with most of them equipped with black 7/14-spoke wheels, and only one of them using the wheel covers from the concept car. It is currently unclear what the purpose of transporting these prototype vehicles to the Fremont Factory is, it may be for further testing or improvement. The Fremont Factory is where Tesla produces the Model S, Model 3, and Model Y, and nearby Palo Alto is Tesla’s design headquarters. It is worth noting that it is still uncertain at what stage of development these prototype vehicles represent. They could be early or late pre-production vehicles, or they could be final version prototypes. Regardless, this indicates that Tesla is accelerating the production process of the Cybertruck. Musk previously stated that the Cybertruck will begin production at the end of 2023 and achieve mass production in 2024.
