Multiple Tesla Cybertruck prototypes spotted in the western United States, about to go into production

【Phoneauto News】The Tesla Cybertruck is a highly anticipated electric pickup truck that has attracted the attention and discussion of countless people since its release in 2019. This vehicle is unique in appearance, powerful in performance, and rich in functionality, making it a vehicle for the future. However, due to various reasons, the production of the Cybertruck has been delayed, which has disappointed many pre-order customers and fans. However, there is some good news recently, which is that multiple Cybertruck prototypes have been transported from Texas to California, indicating that the production of this vehicle is one step closer.

According to Carscoops’ report, at least nine Cybertruck prototypes have departed from the Austin Super Factory in Texas in the past few days and have been transported by road to the Fremont Factory in California. These prototypes are similar to the previously exposed versions, with most of them equipped with black 7/14-spoke wheels, and only one of them using the wheel covers from the concept car. These prototypes have attracted the attention of many passersby and netizens on the road, and some people have posted photos and videos they have taken on Reddit and Twitter.

It is currently unclear what the purpose of transporting these prototype vehicles to the Fremont Factory is, it may be for further testing or improvement. The Fremont Factory is where Tesla produces the Model S, Model 3, and Model Y, and nearby Palo Alto is Tesla’s design headquarters. It is worth noting that it is still uncertain at what stage of development these prototype vehicles represent. They could be early or late pre-production vehicles, or they could be final version prototypes. Regardless, this indicates that Tesla is accelerating the production process of the Cybertruck. Musk previously stated that the Cybertruck will begin production at the end of 2023 and achieve mass production in 2024. Tesla officials have also reiterated this plan and expressed confidence in it.
