Tesla is making huge profits with over 196 million pre-orders for the Cybertruck, surpassing one trillion in value

【Phoneauto News】Recently, Phoneauto noticed that according to estimated data from a Tesla fan-made reservation tracker, the reservation volume of Tesla’s highly anticipated electric pickup truck, Cybertruck, has exceeded 1.96 million units.

A document shared by electric vehicle analyst Sawyer Merritt shows that the tracker estimates Cybertruck’s reservation volume to be 1,962,941 units, with 8.1% of reservations for single motor version, 44% for dual motor, 39.1% for triple motor, and 8.8% for quadruple motor. The estimated prices range from $49,900 (approximately 3.639 million RMB) to $99,900 (approximately 7.287 million RMB). Based on the breakdown and estimated prices, including income estimates from FSD, the current Cybertruck is expected to generate $148.56 billion (approximately 1.08364 trillion RMB) for Tesla. However, all current Cybertruck orders are reservations, and some consumers may cancel their orders.

Not long ago, Phoneauto noticed that Tesla’s Texas Gigafactory has started producing Cybertruck electric pickups, with multiple vehicles coming off the assembly line. This marks the official start of production for this model. It also means that we are not far from the official delivery of the Cybertruck. Originally, this model was supposed to start production and delivery in 2021, but due to some reasons, it has been delayed until 2023. As of now, the Cybertruck is expected to start being delivered to Tesla employees by the end of September.
