Blogger Redmi K30 series and Xiaomi 10 series will not receive MIUI 15 update

No MIUI 15 update for Redmi K30 series and Xiaomi 10 series

【Phoneauto News】Recently, there has been a lot of news related to Xiaomi’s products. In addition to the smartphone product series, Xiaomi’s MIUI update is also receiving a lot of attention. On October 4th, Phoneauto noticed that a digital blogger wrote a post stating that the Redmi K30 series and the Xiaomi 10 series will not receive the MIUI 15 update.

Previous leaks have shown that MIUI 15 may bring interface changes. The leak mentioned that one of the most significant changes in MIUI 15 will be the adjustment of application icons. The updated icons will adopt the design concept of the current Xiaomi logo icon, which is different from the previous rounded rectangle scheme and has a softer overall effect. At the same time, MIUI 15 is expected to adopt Google’s Material You design language, allowing users to experience a dynamic interface that adjusts its appearance based on personal preferences and system themes. There is also a possibility of introducing the ability to redraw icons, enabling users to modify or customize the appearance of specific icons, thus providing greater flexibility in personalized interfaces.

According to the leaks from blogger @, “MIUI 15 is based on regular iterations of the Android underlying system and will be updated as usual this year. The current MIUI based on the Android 14 underlying system has already incorporated some new features, such as a more convenient global free-floating window, app pop-up information, and game login redirection to apps, all of which can be windowed.”

It is worth mentioning that a recent leak mentioned that Xiaomi has started testing the stable version of MIUI 15. According to the information mentioned, Xiaomi’s flagship model, Mi 13, is currently undergoing rigorous testing for MIUI 15. This process is necessary for optimizing user experience and addressing potential issues. The first stable version of MIUI 15 for Mi 13 has been locked in as MIUI-V15.0.0.1.UMCCNXM, and it is expected to provide users with new features.
