【phoneauto News】Recently, phoneauto learned that the all-new next-generation Mustang from Ford will make its debut in China at the 2023 China International Import Expo, which opens on November 5. Recently, Ford announced the official prices of the new Mustang models in the US market. The base version of the Mustang has an official starting price of $32,515 (approximately RMB 225,200), the GT version has an official starting price of $43,090 (approximately RMB 298,500), and the Dark Horse version has an official starting price of $59,565 (approximately RMB 412,600). For reference, the Mustang models currently available in China are all equipped with a 2.3T engine, with an official price range of RMB 369,800 to 401,800.

All-new Ford Mustang

In terms of appearance, the all-new Ford Mustang has a more angular and distinctive design, with a low and sleek profile that emphasizes the overall visual width. The grille design echoes the style of the first-generation Ford Mustang from the 1960s. The three-bar LED headlights also inherit the classic headlight design of the Mustang series. At the same time, the design pays tribute to the original Mustang with its proportionate streamlined roofline, wide body posture, and short and powerful rear suspension design.

In terms of interior, the all-new Ford Mustang is equipped with a 12.4-inch digital instrument panel, developed using the popular 3D Unreal Engine platform commonly used in modern esports games. The customizable features of the instrument panel also allow users to choose their favorite animated designs and display interfaces for the new driving modes.

In terms of power, the entry-level Ford Mustang is equipped with a newly upgraded 2.3-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, with a maximum power output of 235 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 474 Newton-meters. As for the transmission system, it only offers a 10-speed automatic transmission.
