【Mobile China News】Earlier, vivo held a product launch event, officially introducing their new flagship model – the vivo X100 series. During the event, vivo did not release the Pro+ version, which made many consumers curious about when the new phone would be released. On November 29th, Mobile China noticed that a digital blogger leaked information that the larger cup version and the flat screen version of the vivo X100 series are scheduled to debut in March next year. The blogger also mentioned that there are no significant changes in the design and appearance of the larger cup model, so the main changes are in the specifications; as for the flat screen version, it has the same specifications as the vivo X100 standard version, except for a different screen.

vivo X90 Pro+

According to previous leaks, the vivo X100 Pro+ will be a flagship phone with a large water barrel shape. It might be equipped with Samsung’s latest 2K E7 screen and the latest 200 million pixel periscope telephoto lens. The ultrasonic fingerprint feature, which was present in previous Pro+ models, is expected to appear on this phone as well.

In terms of core hardware, the vivo X100 Pro+ may be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform. This platform uses TSMC’s latest 4nm process technology and integrates a 3.3GHz Cortex-X4 large core, along with the more powerful Adreno 750 GPU. With the support of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3, the core performance of this phone is expected to skyrocket.

It is worth mentioning that Han Boxing, the General Manager of vivo X series products, has previously stated that the vivo X100 Pro has reached the level of past Pro+ models. He explained that through in-depth research and development, they have found that using the existing Pro solution can meet the imaging needs of past Pro+ users. In other words, the vivo X100 Pro is already excellent enough to satisfy the needs of top-level imaging users.
