Xiaomi officials stated: The Dragonbone hinge is a brand-new folding hinge independently developed by Xiaomi Group. It pioneered the 3-level rod assembly structure, which brings more precise and reliable folding quality. Both in terms of design concept and mechanical structure, Xiaomi’s self-developed Dragonbone hinge is completely different from the so-called double rotary water-drop hinge claimed by Mr. Yu Chengdong. After studying the technical information and publicly available patent information disseminated by Mr. Yu Chengdong’s affiliated company, and conducting actual dismantling verification, it is found that the so-called double rotary water-drop hinge adopts a design scheme of “2-level rod assembly, 3 components, and 4 low pairing”, while Xiaomi’s self-developed Dragonbone hinge mechanical structure adopts an innovative design of “3-level rod assembly, 5 components, and 7 low pairing”.
