Return to the Peak! Huawei’s Phone Shipment Target for Next Year Exposed as 100 Million Units, Surging by 40%.
Huawei Sets Ambitious 100 Million Phone Shipment Goal for Next Year, Anticipating 40% Surge in Sales at the Peak!
【Mobile China News】On November 11th, according to the “Kechuangban Daily” report, Huawei’s target for smartphone shipments next year is 100 million units, a 40% increase over market expectations. This news has attracted widespread attention in the industry. According to previous reports, Huawei is actively stockpiling components to meet the demand of the smartphone market next year. Huawei’s goal is to reach a shipment of 60 to 70 million smartphones next year, nearly double the expected shipment this year.
Some sources say that since earlier this year, Huawei has been increasing its inventory of lenses, cameras, printed circuit boards, and other components to meet the significant growth in market demand next year. Huawei has also requested that its sole 4G mobile chip supplier in the United States, Qualcomm, deliver the full-year orders by June. Some analysts believe that Huawei’s shipment target will face challenges. Firstly, due to the impact of US sanctions, Huawei may face difficulties in obtaining certain components. At the same time, Huawei needs to deal with market competition and ever-changing consumer demands. However, Huawei has taken a series of measures to address these challenges. They are increasing R&D investment, accelerating the development and production speed of proprietary chips, and striving to improve product quality and user experience. For example, Huawei has a significant advantage in mobile satellite communication technology and is currently the only smartphone manufacturer in the world supporting two-way satellite messaging and calling technology. The industry expects Xiaomi to also “benchmark” this, but apparently, the Xiaomi 14 series does not support this feature.
If Huawei can successfully achieve this shipment target, it will further consolidate its position in the global market and put pressure on other competitors.
