According to Phoneauto, the new car will be officially launched in the fourth quarter of this year, with a starting price of around 250,000 yuan.

From the official released interior images, it can be seen that the interior of the BYD Song L adopts a minimalist design style called “dynamic intersecting aesthetics”. The lines of the center console are intertwined smoothly, creating a more layered look. At the same time, the classic rotatable central control screen and large-sized LCD instrument panel of BYD models have been continued. In addition, the BYD Heart has incorporated crystal cutting craftsmanship, with various buttons integrated around the gear lever, which is more practical for some users.

BYD Song L is known as the “most beautiful BYD model”. Its exterior design is more exquisite, with a sporty and sharp front face. The two dragon teeth designs next to the front grille highlight its dominance, and there is also a chrome strip that connects the headlights to the grille. In terms of powertrain, the new car is built on the e-platform 3.0, equipped with integrated CTB battery technology, intelligent electric four-wheel drive, and Yun Chen system, etc. In addition, the new car will provide both single-motor and dual-motor versions, with the four-wheel drive version having front and rear motors, with maximum power outputs of 150/230kW respectively, and the single-motor version having a maximum power output of 230kW.
