One Reddit forum user shared that there were “strange protrusions” on their Pixel 8 screen, which could only be seen under specific lighting conditions. They also attached a picture that clearly showed the indentations. The user expressed, “Some of them look like screws poking through the screen, while others look like the screen is curved along the (long) edge.”

These indentations are not noticeable under normal circumstances, but they are still concerning and should not appear at all. Other users of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro have also reported the same issue, discovering uneven surfaces on their screens.
