Earlier, Tesla officially released a new trailer for the upcoming Cybertruck delivery event. The announcement includes some information about this event, such as the updated start time of the delivery event.

Tesla posted this announcement on its official Cybertruck account on the X platform. Tesla displayed its usual sense of humor in the post, stating “this year is Cyber Thursday.” The electric car manufacturer also mentioned that the event will start at 2 PM CT (12 PM PT).

Musk announces Cybertruck delivery on Thursday

This post is a small update to the previous event announcement, as Tesla’s Head of Investor Relations, Martin Viecha, recently stated that the delivery event will start at approximately 1 PM CT (11 AM PT). The announcement by Tesla’s executives surprised several observers, as the electric car manufacturer typically holds events in the evening.

Accompanying the announcement is a new poster showing an image of the all-electric pickup truck seemingly breaking through a cloud of dust. The Cybertruck’s iconic light bar and sharp front fascia can be seen very clearly, as well as the vehicle’s large single windshield wiper. The Cybertruck in the image also appears to have raised suspension, evident from the distance between the truck and the ground.

Tesla’s Cybertruck is undoubtedly a star model, attracting a lot of attention. Over the weekend, there were many posts on social media showing that the Cybertruck displayed in several physical stores attracted the attention of many customers. Some stores even formed long queues as people eagerly waited to see the Cybertruck with their own eyes.

Gary Black from Tesla’s Future Fund pointed out that the Cybertruck will have a “halo effect” on Tesla’s entire lineup. This means that even people who do not plan to buy the Cybertruck may purchase other Tesla electric models because their attention was captured by this electric pickup truck. Considering that the Cybertruck is essentially a living billboard for Tesla, this scenario seems reasonable.
