【PhoneAuto News】Recently, PhoneAuto noticed that BYD’s flagship model, the Escort 07, has started pushing the latest version of OTA upgrade on November 28. This upgrade will optimize functions such as parking interaction and windshield wipers. It is reported that this OTA upgrade for the Escort 07 will optimize four functions, including optimizing the automatic parking/remote parking interaction to enhance user experience; optimizing the windshield wiper system for improved stability; optimizing the logic of the daytime running lights; and optimizing the instrument display function to enhance user experience, etc.

BYD’s Escort 07 comes equipped with APA automatic parking and RPA remote parking functions. The models available for sale are the flagship models with a range of only 100 kilometers (equipped with APA automatic parking), 205 kilometers, and 175 kilometers in four-wheel drive. The prices for these three configurations are 228,800 yuan, 259,800 yuan, and 289,800 yuan, respectively. The entire range of this car is equipped with plug-in hybrid systems and a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. Among them, the DM-i model is equipped with a front single motor with a maximum power of 145 kW and a maximum torque of 316 N·m, while the DM-p model is equipped with dual motors with a total power of up to 295 kW and a total torque of 656 N·m. In terms of battery life, the new car comes standard with a blade battery pack, with NEDC pure electric ranges of 100 km, 205 km, and 175 km, respectively.

The dimensions of the BYD Escort 07 are 4,820 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,750 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. At the rear of the car, the taillights feature BYD’s common design of a continuous style, with a corrugated pattern inside, and a double hollow rear wing installed on top.
