NIO President Qin Lihong Promises Exhilarating Releases of Heavyweight Products and Models at NIO Day

【PhoneAuto News】On November 21, PhoneAuto learned that Qin Lihong, co-founder and president of NIO, revealed in the latest episode of NIO Radio that NIO will release major products and models at NIO Day in December. This year, NIO has already released 5 models, including ET5t, the second generation of ES8/ES6/EC6, and EC7. Qin Lihong stated that despite releasing a series of models this year, NIO will continue to launch new products.

Previously, Li Bin, chairman of NIO, stated during the Q2 earnings conference call that NIO will not have any new models next year, only regular product improvements. Therefore, the new car mentioned by Qin Lihong may be a product of NIO’s sub-brand. In August this year, Li Bin revealed that their mass-market brand, “Alps,” will release its first product in the second half of next year, with the development work progressing smoothly at that time. The brand targets the 200,000-300,000 yuan market.

In addition, Qin Lihong also mentioned in the episode that NIO currently has deficiencies in marketing and needs to better communicate its products and technology to enhance the public’s recognition of its product strength. He also said that NIO will collaborate with internet celebrities to promote the brand and products in a more down-to-earth way. NIO Day, known as “the annual event for presenting new products,” is also an annual gathering for users and friends since 2017, with six sessions held so far.

At this year’s NIO Day, NIO is expected to release major products and models, which will undoubtedly add new elements to the company’s product line. NIO has always been committed to providing high-performance intelligent electric vehicles and ultimate user experience, and this new product release further proves NIO’s determination to continuously develop and innovate to meet user demands.
