According to official information, this phone features a super narrow bezel straight screen with a border as narrow as 1.46mm, without a screen bracket. The new phone will be officially released on the afternoon of August 28th.

According to the information released by realme in the preheating phase, realme GT5 will debut with the “Miracle Glass” jointly developed by realme and BYD Electronics. It is reported that the development and production of this glass took more than a year, with a customized independent production line and four complex processes, a first in the industry.

In addition, realme GT5 will be equipped with the long-life version of the 240W full-level flash charging, supporting 1600 complete charge and discharge cycles and 60+ heavy security protections. It adopts PS3 fire protection design and can provide 2 hours of talk time with a 30-second charge. According to official introduction, the long-life version of 240W flash charging costs nearly three times higher than the ordinary hundred-watt flash charging, making it the highest charging power currently supported by the Type-C interface.

At the same time, this version adopts full-link GaN and can achieve 1600 charge and discharge cycles, compatible with UFCS fusion fast charging.

In addition, realme GT5 will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 mobile platform. This mobile platform is built on TSMC’s 4nm process technology and has an eight-core CPU design. The phone also has a dedicated graphics chip X7 and a “Geek Performance Panel”, providing a maximum of 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
