【Mobile China News】 On December 5th, Mobile China noticed that Xiaomi officially announced: Official upgrade to WiFi 7! Xiaomi 14 Series, Xiaomi 13 Series, Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, faster internet speed, lower latency, more interference resistance, experience the next generation of WiFi technology now!
Public information shows that WiFi 7 (Wi-Fi 7) is the next generation Wi-Fi standard, corresponding to the new revision standard IEEE 802.11be – Extremely High Throughput (EHT). WiFi 7 introduces technologies such as 320MHz bandwidth, 4096-QAM, Multi-RU, multi-link operation, and multi-AP cooperation based on Wi-Fi 6, which will provide higher data transmission rates and lower latency compared to Wi-Fi 6. WiFi 7 is expected to support throughput of up to 23Gbps, about three times that of Wi-Fi 6.
It is worth mentioning that on December 4th, Xiaomi 10Gbps router and Xiaomi Router BE7000 have started to push Wi-Fi 7 firmware upgrades. The version number of the Xiaomi 10Gbps router is 1.1.6.
