MG Cyberster pre-sale starts September 26th!

【phoneauto News】According to a report by Autohome, MG Cyberster will start pre-sales on September 26. It is said that this model is a new convertible electric sports car under SAIC Motor’s MG brand, featuring a two-door, two-seat soft-top convertible body design, and will offer both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive layouts.

According to phoneauto, MG Cyberster adopts a Roadster sports car styling, designed for two seats, and has a soft-top mechanical convertible structure. The headlight group adopts atomic design language, creating a more sci-fi visual effect. The lower bumper is equipped with a complex-shaped air flow channel and air intake, which can greatly improve aerodynamic performance. The new car adopts the scissor door structure commonly seen in supercars, which looks very cool.

MG Cyberster adopts a frameless door design, which is in line with the positioning of sports cars. The rear of the car adopts a through-type LED taillight, and the arrow-shaped lamp design is highly recognizable. The rear of the new car does not have an independent spoiler, only a slightly raised small ducktail, but a large-sized diffuser is set at the bottom of the rear of the car. In terms of body size, the length, width, and height of the new car are 4535/1913/1329mm, and the wheelbase is 2690mm.

In terms of power, MG Cyberster is available in single-motor high and low power versions and dual-motor versions. The single-motor version is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the rear axle, with a maximum power of 231 kW for the low-power version and 250 kW for the high-power version. The dual-motor version is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the front axle with a maximum power of 150 kW, and the rear axle is also equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 250 kW. The battery capacity is available in two options: 64 kWh and 77 kWh, corresponding to a range of 501km, 520km, and 580km.
