Look up to U8 will be equipped with emergency buoyancy capacity throughout the series to maximize emergency self-rescue

U8 will have emergency buoyancy in all models for better self-rescue in emergencies

【Phoneauto News】As the launch of the U8 approaches, Phoneauto has recently released more technical details regarding its emergency buoyancy capability. Thanks to this technology, users can maximize their emergency self-rescue even if they mistakenly drive into deep water. It is reported that the emergency buoyancy capability will be standard on all U8 models, providing users with a safer driving experience.

The emergency buoyancy capability allows the vehicle to float like an airbag in scenarios such as heavy rain and flooding or encountering water in the wilderness, providing passive safety for users in emergencies. When users activate the water crossing mode and start crossing, the vehicle will monitor the water depth, body posture, wheel slip status, and other parameters through multiple sensors. If the conditions for floating are met, the emergency buoyancy will be triggered automatically, enabling the vehicle to control movements such as forward and turning while floating in the water.

When the emergency buoyancy capability is triggered, the engine of the U8 luxury version will automatically shut down in advance, the suspension will be raised to the highest position, the windows will automatically roll up, the air conditioning vents will switch to internal circulation, and the cooling fan will start adaptive control, among other actions. At the same time, the sunroof of the vehicle will open automatically, providing users with an additional escape route in extreme situations. In emergency buoyancy mode, the U8 can ensure that there is no visible standing water inside the vehicle within 30 minutes, preventing it from sinking and enabling it to move forward at a speed of up to 3 km/h.
