Latest Tax-Exempt Vehicle Purchase Tax List Released, Featuring Wanjie M9 EV and Other New Models

[PhoneAuto News] Recently, PhoneAuto noticed that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued an announcement: According to relevant regulations, the approved “Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Products” (Batch 376) and the catalog of energy-saving new energy vehicle models eligible for vehicle and vessel tax reduction and exemption agreed by the State Administration of Taxation (Batch 55), as well as the catalog of new energy vehicle models exempted from vehicle purchase tax (Batch 71), will be announced.

This time, a total of 67 passenger car models are exempt from vehicle purchase tax, including 61 pure electric passenger cars and 6 plug-in hybrid passenger cars. The highly anticipated models include the Mercedes-Maybach EQS series, Hongqi EH7, FAW-Volkswagen and SAIC Volkswagen’s ID.4 and ID.6 series, recently unveiled models like Dongfeng eπ007, Volvo EM90, WM Motor M9 EV, as well as the all-new BMW i3, Tesla Model Y, Wuling Hong Guang MINIEV, Leapmotor C10, GAC Aion HTP, Subaru Lan Dun, and other models.

In the latest catalog, we can also learn that popular models such as the Mercedes-Maybach 680 are equipped with an 111.8 kilowatt-hour battery pack, with a CLTC pure electric range of 611 kilometers. The Hongqi EH7 is equipped with a 111 kilowatt-hour battery pack and has CLTC pure electric ranges of 760 kilometers and 820 kilometers, respectively. In addition, in the plug-in hybrid passenger car catalog, the Lynk & Co 09 PHEV has a CLTC pure electric range of 160 kilometers, the BYD Song PLUS has a CLTC pure electric range of 55 kilometers, and the WM Motor M9 has a CLTC pure electric range of 167 kilometers.
