No more pretending! The appearance of the Honor Magic 6 series is revealed in advance ‘Dynamic Island’ is a rock-solid hit.
Unveiling the Honor Magic 6 Series Say Goodbye to Pretending and Embrace the Solid 'Dynamic Island' Design
【Mobile China News】At the recent Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit, Honor showcased its on-device AI capabilities, including intelligent photo editing and dynamic capsules. Additionally, Honor demonstrated upgrades to its MagicRing trust circle, such as cross-device camera sharing and cross-device app dragging. These new features will further enhance users’ seamless experience across different systems, devices, and applications. However, this also prematurely revealed the design of the Honor Magic6 series, which will feature a centered punch-hole display and support the Honor dynamic capsule functionality.
Honor also announced that the upcoming Magic6 will be equipped with the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform, supporting AI on-device large models with 7 billion parameters. This is the first time Honor has showcased some functionality of its on-device AI large models to the public.

For example, Honor’s intelligent photo editing feature can intelligently detect and filter images and videos in the gallery based on user preferences and key moments, automatically matching them with music and subtitles to generate short films with just a click. Honor’s dynamic capsule is a fun feature developed using the low-power capabilities of Qualcomm chips and Honor’s unique eye-tracking control technology. For instance, when a taxi notification appears at the top of the capsule, users only need to glance at it to automatically open the card and see the license plate number and estimated arrival time. If the user continues to gaze at it, the card will further expand into the app, making one-handed operation more convenient. Unlike cloud-side AI large models, Honor’s on-device AI large models complete scenario-based tasks with personalized understanding and perception. The advantage of this model is that it can better learn users’ personal data, which remains on the device and is not uploaded to the cloud, ensuring user privacy and security. Additionally, this model can accumulate a personal knowledge base on the device, which can be migrated, inherited, and grow over time. As on-device AI learns and grows with users’ personal data and habits, it will be able to provide more in-depth intent understanding and more personalized complex scenario services.
