Samsung S24 Ultra camera specs leaked 200MP main camera and telephoto lens

【PhoneAuto News】Recently, news about the next-generation flagship phone from Samsung, the S24 Ultra, has been constantly circulating on the internet. According to PhoneAuto, foreign media has revealed the camera specifications for the phone. It will continue to feature a 200 million pixel main camera, with a slight upgrade to the telephoto lens.

Samsung S23 Ultra

Earlier this year, the S23 Ultra was released as Samsung’s first smartphone with a 200 million pixel camera. According to the latest leaks, the S24 Ultra will continue to feature the same main camera as the S23 Ultra, with support for OIS optical stabilization, and the sensor will be Samsung’s own ISOCELL HP2. The ultra-wide-angle lens will continue to use the Sony IMX564 sensor with 12 million pixels and a single pixel size of 1.4μm. The changes to the zoom lens are relatively significant. Of the two telephoto lenses on the S24 Ultra, the 3x optical zoom corresponds to the Sony IMX754, and the other supports 10x optical zoom, with the Sony IMX754+. Both lenses have 12 million pixels. Foreign media reports that, apart from the slightly modified periscope telephoto lens, the S24 Ultra’s camera may not introduce any significant hardware-level enhancements.

The leak did not mention any information about the Samsung S24 Ultra’s front-facing camera, but considering the changes to the rear camera, it is likely that the phone will continue to use a 12 million pixel selfie camera.

PhoneAuto learned that as early as April, a reliable source had stated that the S24 and S24+ would retain the same camera configuration as their predecessors. Therefore, it is expected that both phones will feature a 50 million pixel Samsung GN3 main camera.
