Apple applies for fruit trademarks, Xiaomi 14U to launch in 2022

【Phoneauto Morning News】According to the Tianyancha App, Apple recently applied to register multiple “PINE APPLE” trademarks, with international classifications involving scientific instruments, advertising sales, and construction repairs. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to be launched in March 2024. Realme has listed two upcoming new devices on its official website in Indonesia: the C51 smartphone and the Buds T300 true wireless Bluetooth earphones. Honor plans to resume mobile phone production in India at the beginning of next year and officially re-enter the Indian mobile phone market.

The Tianyancha App shows that Apple recently applied to register multiple “PINE APPLE” trademarks, with international classifications involving scientific instruments, advertising sales, and construction repairs. The current status of these trademarks is all under application. It is reported that “PINEAPPLE” can be translated as “pineapple” or “pineapple”.

It is understood that Apple has filed 215 trademark opposition applications in the past few years, which is more than the combined number of applications from Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta (formerly Facebook) (136 cases). Among these 215 trademark opposition applications initiated by Apple, 37 entities chose to withdraw their trademark applications, accounting for 17%. In addition, more than half of the entities did not respond to Apple’s litigation.

According to foreign media reports, Xiaomi is expected to launch two models of the Xiaomi 14 series phones later this year, and the third model of this series, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, may be launched in March 2024. Currently, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has entered the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) database.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra

According to foreign media reports, the two models of the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra have been listed in the IMEI database. The model number for the Chinese market is 24030PN60C. In the global market, the model number for this device is 24030PN60G.

realme has listed two upcoming new devices on its official website in Indonesia: the C51 smartphone and the Buds T300 true wireless Bluetooth earphones. The release dates for these two new products have also been announced – August 23rd.

According to foreign media reports, realme launched its latest C series smartphone, the realme C51, in the Taiwanese market last month. This device will also be available in global markets, including India. The realme Buds T300 is the brand’s second latest device to be launched on the Indonesian website and is a pair of TWS earphones. There is currently not much information available about its specifications, but the website indicates that it will come in two colors: fashionable black and youthful white. From the images released by foreign media, the fashionable black version of the realme Buds T300 earphones features a black color scheme with a glossy design. The earphone handle is relatively short, and the internal part of the earphone case features a contrasting color design. The “realme” brand logo is positioned in the center of the earphone case, with an indicator light below.

According to foreign media reports, Honor plans to resume smartphone production in India starting early next year. Honor’s return to India is due to a licensing agreement with the newly established Gurugram company, Honor Tech, which involves the transfer of technology and hardware but does not disclose the “agreed cost.”

It is understood that the company is fully owned by local shareholders and will manufacture, sell, and service Honor-branded smartphones in India. Three new models are set to be launched, with the mid-range Number series expected to debut in September. Madhav Sheth, the CEO of the company, said, “All phones will eventually be manufactured in India,” but did not disclose further details.

According to supply chain sources, due to the impact of import tariffs in India and the production incentives of the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme to support the development of the electronic manufacturing industry, Honor’s smartphones sold in India will be mainly assembled by its largest ODM supplier, Wingtech Technology, in India. The speculated time for the product launch is in the third quarter.
