Former Realme India CEO joins Honor, teases new smartphone launch
【Phoneauto News】According to foreign media reports, Honor exited the Indian market as early as 2020 and has not released any new phones in the country since then. However, with the brand confirming its reentry into the Indian market soon, this situation is about to change. In addition, former Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth, announced that he will join Honor India and posted on X (formerly Twitter) that Honor will launch new smartphones in India.

According to Phoneauto, it has been over three years since Honor last released smartphones in India. Since then, the brand has been maintaining its Indian business through PSAV Global. This company, based in Noida, is the actual distributor of Honor products in India. Over the past three years, the products sold by PSAV Global in India have been limited to smart bands, tablets, and laptops. PSAV Global has a network of over 5000 retailers and more than 100 distributors in India.

Previous reports indicate that Honor 90 will be the first smartphone launched by Honor after its return to India. It is expected that Honor 90 will be launched in India around September, and it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile platform and a 200 million pixel main camera. It will feature a 120Hz AMOLED display and a built-in 5000mAh battery.
