According to Phoneauto, it has been over three years since Honor last released smartphones in India. Since then, the brand has been maintaining its Indian business through PSAV Global. This company, based in Noida, is the actual distributor of Honor products in India. Over the past three years, the products sold by PSAV Global in India have been limited to smart bands, tablets, and laptops. PSAV Global has a network of over 5000 retailers and more than 100 distributors in India.

Previous reports indicate that Honor 90 will be the first smartphone launched by Honor after its return to India. It will feature a 120Hz AMOLED display and a built-in 5000mAh battery.
